A Glimpse into our Fifteenth Anniversary Party

Our celebrations have continued well past our actual birthday because we're just having too much fun with it all! Fifteen is a milestone that we really wanted to commemorate in a truly special way.

With that, we wanted to share a glimpse into our anniversary event that we put on for those nearest and dearest that have truly been with us through thick and thin!

The shop had just been freshly flipped and was looking so stunning in the spring evening light and we were so excited to get this party started. 

A massive charcuterie board was hand placed by Doreen Loewen who specializes in the most beautiful grazing boards (and being an incredible mother to our founder!) This board was something truly out of this world and kept us satisfied all night long. 

We also had created a custom bar menu that fit the spring/summer vibe we were oh-so craving!

The entire Mad Team was in attendance accompanied by their most important people. Having the team together is always special, but being able to have those closest to them all in one place truly felt like something so exceptional. 

It wouldn't be a birthday celebration without some sweet treats! The lemon and blueberry cake from Sugar & Salt Bakeshoppe was so stunning and not to mention, absolutely delicious! The salted caramel and lemon flavoured macarons from Jenna Rae Cakes are always such a hit! The delectable sandwich cookies from Sweet Impressions were the most incredible bite of sweetness that had the whole room wanting seconds.

We were treated to the most delicious savoury bites from Academy Hospitality that were a huge hit! From fresh arancini to seared tuna, the food was out of this world! The perfect combinations of fresh small bites to rich comforting snacks, they were definitely a crowd pleaser! 

The floral arrangements from our dreams came to life supplied by Stone House Creative. The butter yellow roses were straight out our imagination! We had never seen such massive flowers; they literally took our breath away!

A heartfelt toast was shared which most definitely got the tears flowing! So much heart and soul has been put into this small shop for so many years that when we are able to sit back, take it all in and celebrate it, it feels surreal. Being able to see a room full of those who have made this place possible truly puts all the hard work from everyone involved into perspective.  

We are reminded everyday that we wouldn't be where we are today without the incredible support of our community. The gratitude we have for each foot that steps into the shop is unimaginable. Each and everyone of you make all of this possible and from the very bottom of our hearts, we thank you.
