Academy in the City Team Trip

Last month our team had the opportunity to attend and be a part of the pop-up market at the Academy in the City conference hosted by The Atelier and Jillian Harris. 

Ang and Taryn, the incredible duo behind the Atelier, never cease to amaze us with their ability to create magic. Their talent for bringing together a group of like-minded women, coupled with an inspiring lineup of speakers, set the stage for an event that was both enlightening and empowering. And of course, anything that Jillian Harris gets involved in has an extra special feel! The energy in the air was contagious, and we were so thrilled to be a part of it.

One of the most exciting aspects of the pop-up market was the chance to meet our online community in person. It was incredibly fulfilling to put faces to the names we've interacted with online. It was such a highlight of the experience to pick out MAD piece amongst everyone's stunning outfits and share in the excitement of the event.

We also took this opportunity to soft launch our new branding and debut pieces from our in-house summer collection. We were blown away by the love and support from everyone who visited our booth. 

We got to spend the next day as a team in Toronto, stopping for brunch and a much needed coffee. We popped into Melanie Auld and got matching necklaces from their Symbolic Stones collection. Each birth month had a meaning and we felt like each of us really suited our pieces which was cool!

As we reflect on this experience, we're filled with gratitude. It was a whirlwind experience but one we wouldn't trade for the world!
