Trend Report | Pre-Fall 2025
The changing of the season is either something you crave or something you choose to ignore for as long as possible and honestly, we see both sides!
For me personally, the fall season feels more like the beginning of a new year than January does. It feels fresh and revitalizing, as if I’m ready to take on the cooler months after a rejuvenating summer.
This time of year always feels so exciting to me: a new coffee order, new recipes, and most exciting of all new clothes!
It’s definitely safe to say that fall is my absolute favourite season for fashion. With that, here are the top trends we’re so excited to see in the shop this season!
Western Influence
Many trends, as we know, tend to make a comeback annually — but some, however, are brand new. One major trend we’re going to see this fall is an emphasis on Western influence. Whether it’s denim on denim, plaids and ginghams, suede, leather, or even a touch of fringe, we’re seeing these Western elements make their way into our wardrobes. With pre-fall fashion comes deeper, earthy tones, a shift we're also seeing influenced by the Western trend.
That said, we’re seeing a preppy take on this trend! Think collared shirts, midi denim dresses, layered oxfords under knits, and styled layering overall — which makes the trend feel a little more polished and approachable.

As we get deeper into the fall months, you will see a ton of suede and leather which exudes western aesthetic. Pair a suede topper with a striped oxford shirt for a preppy nostalgic look.
Here's a sneak peek into what's to come!

Preppy style
As mentioned above, a classic fall trend that resurfaces year after year is the preppy aesthetic. This time of year naturally brings to mind that academia/back-to-school vibe, which translates seamlessly into our fashion choices.
Details like collared shirts, houndstooth prints, lightweight knits, polos, and pleated trousers are all reminiscent of that collegiate style — cozy, yet polished and put together.
Pops of colour
As we fade out of the summery pops of color like that bright red and butter yellow we all loved so much, we transition into deeper, richer tones such as cobalt blue and dark cherry.
We saw a lot of this “chocolate cherry” red last year, and it’s definitely making a strong return this season. Think knitwear, dresses, shoes, and bags in this stunning deep cherry hue that truly stands out on its own.
If you're someone who prefers a brighter pop of color, cobalt blue is the one for you! It looks beautiful in a perfect cardigan and pairs effortlessly with a crisp late-summer white or, classically, with any neutral bottom.

Dainty Details
Lastly, alongside the preppy style, we’ll see a surge in dainty, feminine details. Lace trim will have a major moment in dresses and satin tanks, while frills and bubble hems will continue to shine. Think sheer skirts, too — especially when paired with an oversized blazer to add structure and balance to the softness.
Complementing these feminine touches, we’ll also see a continued mix of masculine silhouettes. Classic baggy trousers, boxy tees, and oversized blazers will remain wardrobe staples this season.

We’ve been getting so excited as these pieces slowly start making their way into the shop — and we can’t wait for you to try these trends for yourself!
