Fall Trend Breakdown: Hues of red

Welcome back to our Fall 2024 trend breakdown! Where we dive into and style our favourite trends for this upcoming season.

New hues of red

We’ve seen pops of red as a fashion trend all year round and it will without a doubt be coming back with full force for the fall 24’ season. We are remaining hot for this vibrant colour and we can’t wait to show you how we’re styling it this autumn! As we send off the vibrant tomato reds of summer, we welcome the cherry mocha hues of fall with open arms.

accessorize

Pops of red as accessories are always a great place to start in terms of incorporating this trend into your wardrobe. Think a burgundy kitten heeled mule, or a cherry red woven tote, or even an apple red nail colour (Try Big Apple Red by OPI). Starting small is always a great way to jump into a trend that you may feel hesitant about.

Red can feel like an overwhelming shade to incorporate into your wardrobe if it' snot one that you find yourself gravitating towards, so starting small is a great way to get comfortable with it.

colour combinations

These red hues pair so beautifully with other trending colours for fall 24’ as well! Think navy, brown, cream, and grey paired with cherry red accents. This makes for a classy yet eye-catching combination that feels reminiscent of the old money aesthetic that we saw take the stage this past summer.

Some ways that we’ve been incorporating larger pops of red into our everyday wardrobe include a red turtleneck paired with a grey power suit, a cherry red satin slip skirt paired with a light soft knit, or a cashmere sweater with a leather skirt for some dimension and texture. These larger pops will take you well into the holiday season as well.

We’re continuing to have so much fun with this trend and are loving experimenting with new ways to style it. Adding red into your fall wardrobe is a balance between simplicity and statement making. Finding the right pieces that work for you and feeling comfortable and confident in them is the key and we’d love to help you find the perfect addition!
